Scott is a hands on Industrial Designer who has spent his career transforming advanced technologies into manufactured products. His experience spans DEKA, Segway, Intuitive Surgical, Nuro and Amazon where he helped create the original Segway, led the industrial design of the DaVinci Xi surgical system, developed Nuro’s first autonomous delivery vehicle, and led design across Amazon robotics for the past 8 years.
Mentored early in his career by Dean Kamen (DEKA/National Metal of Technology/ USFirst) and Doug Field (Apple/Tesla/Ford), he learned to embed design powerfully within world-class engineering—not just form-giving but crafting product architecture, usability, and technical problem-solving. That experience gives him a level of fluency few industrial designers can claim.
